Mt. Bachelor is a year-round ski and activity resort located in Bend, Oregon. As the 6th largest ski resort in North America, it features a Woodward Mountain Park with 15 terrain parks, 56 km of groomed cross country trails, snowshoeing, sled dog rides and summer attractions including downhill mountain biking, ziplining, whitewater rafting with Sun Country Tours and the Woodward WreckTangle in Bend.

Additionally, I engineered and deployed the resort’s first mobile app, enhancing guest engagement, convenience, and safety. My management of marketing content for eCommerce websites resulted in a substantial 53% increase in conversion and a noteworthy 44% boost in total revenue within an 18-month period.
Position Scope
Over a dynamic four-year tenure as the Digital Marketing Specialist at Mt. Bachelor, I spearheaded comprehensive initiatives to optimize the resort's online presence. My primary responsibilities involved developing and implementing engaging website content for mtbachelor.com, while simultaneously conducting the redesign and management of the resort's four individual brand websites, ensuring distinct messaging while upholding Mt. Bachelor’s overarching brand voice.
Accomplishments
My proudest accomplishment was successfully leading the launch of Mt. Bachelor’s new website, overseeing a comprehensive redesign, integration of a new weather API, and migration to Drupal CMS. This enormous overhaul resulted in a notable 25.5% increase in organic search traffic and a 13% reduction in bounce rates within the first 18 months of launch. By closely monitoring digital campaign metrics, tracking KPIs, and staying abreast of industry trends, I significantly elevated brand awareness, driving a remarkable 31% increase in skier visits and an 18% expansion in the winter passholder base.
